This season will be one to remember. The players all shown there cards already. We already know who is good and bad. We already know who is naughty and who is nice.  I'm excited to see how the villains will "get along".  I can see some sparks already. We've got 5 good guys and five bad guys, 5 good girls and 5 bad girls.  There will be a lot of fascinating power plays going on to find out who is top dog in each department. So who is your bet now?

2010 Winter Olympics is hosted by Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Feb. 12-28, 2010. This is a big opportunity for the country to host in this kind of event. The country should be proud of . Many country desires to host this event but unfortunately, Vancouver people are not happy for the said event. They are protesting and planning to ruin the game. Their perception of the game in Olympic industry is benefiting only a few people while ignoring the needs of the citizen who might needs most of the money they spent in the game and gives more negatives impact than positive.

According to the forecaster prediction in regards of snowstorm, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and New York will encounter again a snowstorm and throughout nation. Due to the winter weather, they advice the Federal Government as long as Schools and Offices were remain closed on Wednesday and or a  week since the employee have been off work. To prevent much damage and cause of problem, the people should advise to stay at home and be prepare for the snowstorm.

The NFL awarded the 2010 Super Bowl — Super Bowl XLIV — to Miami and the championship game will be played February 7, 2010 at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens. This Sunday evening we would see the battle between AFC champions Indianapolis Colts and NFC champions New Orleans Saints in SUPER BOWL 2010. Saints lost their games even when playing with their good players. Peyton who is a better quarterback and Colts have better defense and offense even though they are new. So more super bowl prediction is made in favor of Colts. So who is gonna win?

Snowstorm creeps over New Jersey- East Cost of New Jersey is expected to create a wintry mess in the Garden State today and the storm also carried a bit of irony. Just as the Garden State was bracing for the wallop from this latest storm, the federal government declared disaster areas in seven South Jersey counties that were hit with a massive late-December snowstorm. The declaration from the Federal Emergency Management Agency affects Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean and Salem counties which were pummeled with up to 2 feet of snow and high winds Dec. 19-20.That area of the state sustained significant damage, requiring a substantial amount of money for cleanup and repairs. A disaster declaration allows the state and local governments to recoup most of the money spent on the storm cleanup.

Kim Hughes a new coach 
A former Australian cricketer who played for Western Australia, Natal and Australia. Though he struggled as captain of Australia, Hughes was a very talented player of whom Richie Benaud said in 1980 "I regard him as likely to become one of the all-time great batsmen". Hughes has never been a head coach, but has filled in for Dunleavy on occasion. He has been on the Clippers’ staff since Dunleavy took over as coach in 2003 but now LA clippers finally get Kim Hughes as a new coach.

The Twins' new stadium, Target Field, is set to open in April. It will be the first time outdoor baseball has been played in the Twin Cities in over twenty years.

6.0 earthquake shakes Eureka area - Eureka Police Capt. Murl Harpham was at his desk Thursday afternoon when the room began to shake from a magnitude 6.0 earthquake that struck off the Northern California coast. The quake, which hit about 12:20 p.m., was felt over a wide region of Humboldt County, but no injuries or damage were reported,, authorities said. The earthquake's epicenter was 47 miles west-northwest of Eureka, according to the U.S. Geological Survey, which said there was a 53% chance that a magnitude 5.0 aftershock could hit the area within a week.
In downtown Eureka, last month's quake broke windows, knocked over wine bottles and spilled food at coffee shops, businesses and restaurants.

With 31 World Cup wins in four disciplines (downhill, Super G, slalom and super combined) and two World Championship gold medals (plus two World Championship If you work hard, it will pay off in the end," Lindsey say". Coach Mike Dunleavy was 215-325 in 6 1/2 seasons on the bench, and Los Angeles made the playoffs just once in his first six seasons, getting within one game of the Western Conference finals in 2006. His been serving as the Clippers’ coach/general manager since Elgin Baylor left the club early last season, will retain his front-office title. The Clippers haven’t been back to the playoffs since, winning just 42 games in the past two seasons. But last Thursday, LA Clippers have decided to make a coaching change with just 32 games left in the season, relieving Mike Dunleavy of his duties.The Clippers began play Thursday with the 12th-best record in the Western Conference, seven games out of a playoff spot at 21-28.

10 Americans charged of kidnapping for trying to take 33 children in , Haiti. Investigating judge, who interviewed the missionaries Tuesday and Wednesday, found sufficient evidence to charge them for trying to take the children across the border into the Dominican Republic on Jan. 29 without documentation. Coq complained about conditions where the Americans were being held. He said they are sleeping on the floor without blankets and aren't being provided with adequate food. He said he had delivered pizza and sandwiches.The Dominican consul in Haiti, Carlos Castillo, told the AP on Thursday that the day the Americans departed for the border, Silsby visited him and said he had a document from Dominican migration officials authorizing her to extract the children from Haiti. Castillo said he warned Silsby that if she lacked adoption papers signed by the appropriate Haitian officials her mission would be considered child trafficking. "We were very specific," he said.

Conrad Murray- the doctor of Michael Jackson were meeting Wednesday to talk about their client's defense strategy in the event he's charged in the death of the singer but still no word from the prosecutor about the case.

Murray was at a friend's house in Santa Monica, where a crowd of paparazzi was waiting outside. Fifteen miles to the east, a contingent of camera crews and photographers waited at the downtown courthouse. According to "Mrs. Jackson is really going to rely on the good faith of the authorities to make sure justice is done. A law enforcement official last month told the AP that prosecutors had decided to seek a grand jury indictment on an involuntary manslaughter charge. On Tuesday, a second law enforcement official said prosecutors were sticking with the charge but planned to file a criminal complaint to avoid the appearance of secrecy in the closely watched case.A criminal complaint would pave the way for a preliminary hearing in the case, where a judge would publicly hear evidence and decide if it should go to trial.

SUDDEN INFANT DEATH SYNDROME (SIDS) - Oz scientist sees breakthrough

An Aussie senior researcher working in the US has discovered a link that could lead to a cure for the chilling kids' killer. The study has confirmed the link between serotonin abnormalities and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, bringing researchers a step closer to a cure for the fatal condition.

The study says brainstem levels of serotonin in the brain are lower in victims of SIDS.

The study, published today in the Journal of the American Medical Association, was led by Australian researcher Dr Jhodie Duncan from the Florey Neuroscience Institutes, with colleagues at the Children̢۪s Hospital in Boston.
